Jeff Purtle and his British student, David Bertie, were featured in this concert involving the Bruton Choral Society and organists Simon Clarkson and David Slater.
Music included movements from Handel’s Messiah, Monteverdi’s Beatus Vir and a whole variety of lighter pieces as well. Jeff Purtle and David Bertie performed the Concerto for Two Trumpets by Vivaldi and a Sonata by Franceschini for two trumpets.
