Ryan Nottingham Playing Lew Soloff’s Spinning Wheel Trumpet Solo

Ryan Nottingham is a freelance trumpet player from Louisville, Kentucky. Blood Sweat and Tears originally performed Spinning Wheel with Lew Soloff played the solo and Ryan was sight-reading the trumpet solo and playing lead trumpet at this live gig.

Ryan has been a student of Jeff Purtle since October 2019 and is a good example of skill and versatility that comes from the Claude Gordon and Herbert L. Clarke concepts applied through systematic practice.
