Consignment Sales

We sell trumpets on consignment and would be happy to handle your trumpet. We intentionally limit our sales to the Claude Gordon Benge, Claude Gordon Selmer and Claude Gordon Marcinkwiecz trumpets. Occasionally we might sell some antique instruments or keyed trumpets.

To do so, please contact us to discuss your instrument and the shipping details if we agree to sell your instrument.

Please enclose with your instrument a letter, with all your shipping and contact information, stating how much money in USA dollars you would like to receive for the instrument. We will advise you, if requested, as to a reasonable asking price for the instrument after examining it. When a price is agreed upon, we will attempt to sell the instrument and when it is sold we will send you a check for the agreed upon price.

If repairs are needed we can discuss the costs involved and make a decision to do it or sell it as is. There is never a way to predict how long it will take to sell any instrument, as it depends on the market at the time.

If at any time you ask for the return of the instrument that has not been sold, you will be held responsible for the charges for any repairs that have been made to the instrument. A charge of $25 plus shipping costs must be paid before the item is shipped back. Shipping can be done via US Postal Service, FedEx or UPS.

We are also interested in older Claude Gordon Benge mouthpieces, CG Personal mouthpieces and out of print method books. We would likely immediately buy those from you after discussing the price.
